Thanks to you, we’ve raised over $30,000 at Polo at Sunset 2020

Last Friday was absolutely amazing. Every one of us at the IMPD Mounted Horse Patrol Association and the Unit thanks those who supported Polo at Sunset.

We went into this year’s event thinking we’d be lucky to do half of what we normally do. We figured with the pandemic and the need to have cars consume more space for tailgating we’d have fewer fans and revenue. And I’m thrilled to say we were wrong.

We set a new record at Hickory Hall Polo Club with over 470 cars coming through admissions. At least triple, probably quadruple that number of  people were there. We’re still calculating the final figure for this fundraising event, and our initial tally shows you helped us raise $32,750 through  admission, donations, merchandise sales, and sponsorships. And donations continue coming all supporting training, veterinary care, supplies, and the purchase of additional horses.

Thank you for coming, donating, volunteering, purchasing an item, and otherwise being there for the IMPD officers and their equine partners. We know they’ll be there for us when we need them, and now you’ve been there for them.

Thanks also to our great sponsors, who are listed below. Remember them and support  their businesses and organizations.
